Matt's Picks of the Day (3-0 week; 8-10 overall)

Bring out the brooms! I hope everyone had a fantastic Monday because I sure did! My first undefeated day brought my betting total to 8-10, which makes me a lot happier than 5-10.

That record is better than a good amount of the people that are trusted and get paid to talk about sports betting with Barstool! My goal isn't to be some god or wizard, just on par with my picks and maybe even better with my writing.

Anyway, I have two more picks for everyone on this wonderful Tuesday. Let's go for 5-0!

MLB

Indians ML -172

Not the *best* value here, but this is as close to a lock as it gets.

The Rangers are one of the coldest teams in baseball, and all the Indians need to do is win, not cover a run line.

There are some trends that point to trap games for the Rangers like when they are playing a lefty or if they are at home, but the Rangers will continue to struggle tonight in Cleveland.

Texas is a dreadful 15-47 on the road to pair with an awful 21-54 against right-handed pitchers.

The Indians are even coming off of a sweep of the Angels last week!

So, I'm taking a lukewarm Indians squad versus a Texas squad that I'm not even sure has the motivation to win games anymore.

Cleveland is also an impressive 35-18 as a betting favorite.

Sounds like an easy play to me!

Braves ML -135

I'm aware I'm doing the impossible here... but I will be betting against the Yankees tonight in the midst of a 10-game winning streak.

I was already dead set on picking these teams to split the two games played because they came into this series on fire, but today just has Atlanta written all over it.

Charlie Morton is taking the mound for the Braves tonight, and while the Yankees do demolish right-handers, he's probably one of the best righties you can ask to pitch against them in the league.

Like if the Yanks beat up this man tonight, I will have issues betting against them with this trend for the rest of the year.

On the flip side, New York is starting this one with Andrew Heaney on the mound. Being brutally honest, that man is complete garbage. Knowing Atlanta has a 22-13 record against southpaws, that makes this look even more one-sided.

The Yankees could really have a day against Morton, but that won't mean a thing if Heaney allows five to seven runs (yes, that is really what I'm calling for).

It may be an entertaining or even close game, but I'm taking the Braves. If the Yankees win this one, they may just be unstoppable at this point on route to a 28th World Series title.

That's all for today! Let's hope this streak of mine continues, and let's have a Tuesday!
